What backing means
The archive is open to all, and always will be, with or without a single backer. Nothing here is waiting to be switched off, and there is no lock to buy your way past. Backing is not access, and it is not life support. It is propulsion: it pays for the next thing built and given away, and the reach to put it in front of someone who does not yet know it exists. The circles differ only in how much weight you put behind the build, never in what the world receives.

There is no public list of backers, and there are no names on this page. Support for this work is nobody else’s business. What is public is where the money goes, posted every month in the Open Ledger, and that is the part that should be.
