Health & Safety

What this is, and what it is not. This page covers every part of Infinitum Cor: this site, Fair Care, the Sanctum Sanctorum, the Resonance Archives, the Loom, Present Listeners, and the Aletheia Lab.

The short version. Infinitum Cor is a set of tools for reflection, practice, and finding your way to care. It is not therapy, not medical treatment, not a diagnosis, and not a crisis service. It cannot help you in an emergency. If you are in danger right now, call your local emergency number, or go to the crisis page, which is free, never gated, and never tracked.

What Infinitum Cor is

Across the ecosystem we offer four kinds of thing:

What we are not

Infinitum Cor does not provide therapy, counselling, psychiatric care, medical treatment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or any professional mental health service. Nobody here is acting as your clinician. We are not an emergency service and we cannot respond to an emergency.

Not medical or therapeutic advice

Everything on our sites and in our apps is for education and self-exploration. It is not medical advice, not mental health treatment, and not a replacement for professional care. Do not use it to diagnose yourself, and do not use it to decide whether to start, stop, or change a medication. Those are conversations to have with a prescriber.

No professional relationship

Using anything we make does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Infinitum Cor or anyone working on it.

We do not disparage professional care

Therapy and medication help enormous numbers of people. Nothing we publish should be read as discouraging you from either. If something we have written ever reads that way, it is badly written, and we would like to know.

AI and generated content

Some parts of the ecosystem use AI to generate reflection prompts, narration, or responses. These are creative and supportive tools. They are not clinical assessment, not triage, and not a counsellor. An AI response can be wrong, can miss the seriousness of what you have said, and cannot call for help on your behalf. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking, never as a judgment about your health or safety.

When to seek professional help

Please reach for real, human, professional help if you are experiencing any of the following. None of these is a failure, and none of them is too small to bring to someone.

Crisis lines live on one page, so they never drift out of date: infinitumcor.org/crisis. It carries lines for the United States and for ten countries, it is never behind a signup, and it is never tracked. The full support directory holds everything else.

What we ask of you

By using Infinitum Cor you accept that:

Peer support is not therapy

The Commons, circles, and Present Listeners exist so you do not have to be alone with something. They are peer support.

Breathing and body practices

Many of our rituals involve breathwork, meditation, or gentle movement. Breathwork in particular can cause dizziness, tingling, or fainting, and it is not safe for everyone. Talk to a doctor before starting if any of these apply to you:

Practise sitting or lying down, never while driving or in water, and stop the moment it stops feeling right.

Outcomes

No guarantees

We make no promise about what using any of this will do for you. Results differ from person to person and depend on a great deal that is outside our control or knowledge.

Meant to sit alongside care, not replace it

The ecosystem is designed to complement professional treatment. It works best next to real care, not instead of it. That is the whole reason Fair Care exists: to hold the gap while you wait for the appointment, not to become the appointment.

Accuracy

We try hard to be accurate and we correct things when we are wrong. Even so, content can age, and understanding changes. Verify anything that matters with a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INFINITUM COR LLC AND EVERYONE WORKING ON IT ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR ANY HEALTH OUTCOME, MEDICAL DECISION, OR CONSEQUENCE ARISING FROM USE OF ANYTHING WE MAKE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR USER-GENERATED CONTENT, FOR PEER ADVICE, FOR THE ACTS OF ANY PRACTITIONER OR ORGANIZATION WE LINK TO, OR FOR ANY ACTION TAKEN ON THE BASIS OF INFORMATION FOUND HERE.

Nothing in this section removes any right you have under the consumer protection or health laws of the country you live in, and nothing here excludes liability where the law does not permit it to be excluded.

Other organizations we point you to

Our crisis lines, support directory, and practitioner map list organizations and people we do not run. We check crisis lines against the operating organization's own official source and stamp each one with the date we last confirmed it. Even so:

Changes to this page

We will update this page as the ecosystem changes, and the date below will move when we do. The history of every change lives in public version control, so nothing here can be quietly rewritten.
